Jul 14, 2018 · I can say from experience with two fixed bladed knives that 14C28N is pretty good steel. It is interesting in that it takes a wickedly sharp edge and holds it longer than S30V, in my experience and in others' experiences, but then when it loses that edge it gets dull faster than S30V. However, it is very easy to resharpen.
